A hearty and simple dish - chicken breast in sour cream with potatoes. This is a good choice for a family lunch or dinner.

  • 3 chicken fillets;
  • 7-9 potatoes;
  • 1 onion;
  • 200 gr. sour cream;
  • 1 tablespoon prepared tomato sauce;
  • salt, ground black pepper, nutmeg.

Peel the potatoes, cut them into thin circles or cubes, as you like. Wash the chicken fillet, dry it and cut into small cubes. Chop the onion into thin half rings.

Heat a little in a frying pan, add the onion and fry until it turns golden. Mix sour cream and ketchup in a bowl, add salt and pepper to the resulting sauce, and add your favorite spices as desired.

Take a fireproof dish and place the onion fried in oil on the bottom. Place chopped potatoes on top. If the potatoes are cut into circles, then you need to lay them out with an overlap; the laid out potatoes will resemble fish scales. If you cut it into cubes, then simply lay it out in an even layer. Salt the potato layer, sprinkle with pepper and nutmeg.

We also season the chicken fillet with spices and salt. Place the chicken on the potatoes and pour the sauce on top. Bake at 180 degrees for about 45-50 minutes. We check readiness by piercing the potatoes with a fork.

Chicken fillet with bell pepper

Chicken fillet cooked in sour cream with... turns out beautiful and bright. We recommend choosing red and yellow peppers.

  • 1 kg chicken breast (fillet);
  • 200 gr. sour cream;
  • 2 peppers;
  • 25 gr. butter;
  • 1 tomato;
  • 1 onion;
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil;
  • 1 tablespoon ground sweet paprika;
  • 1 tablespoon flour;
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic.

Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and add the butter. Fry thinly sliced ​​onion. Then add the chicken fillet, cut into pieces, and fry until the color changes. Then reduce the heat and, adding a little water, simmer under the lid for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, remove the seeds from the bell pepper, then cut it into strips or cubes. Add pepper to chicken. We also send the tomato cut into thin slices there. Stir, salt, pepper and simmer until the pepper is ready.

Every time I buy a chicken breast, I think what else can be made from this product. It seemed like I had already tried all the recipes. But no, I found another one, new to me - this is baked chicken fillet with tomatoes in sour cream sauce. I love it, and here it’s also in sour cream. The result was incredibly tender chicken meat, juicy with gravy.

This recipe is suitable for dietary nutrition. It is good for children if you exclude hot spices. In general, I recommend trying this dish to everyone who is partial to chicken.
