Prepare the necessary ingredients. Squeeze the juice out of the lemon.

Pour boiling water over the raisins and leave for 10 minutes. Then drain the water and dry well.

Wash the pumpkin thoroughly, remove the peel and seeds and cut into small cubes.

For the filling, boil the rice until fully cooked, wash the raisins and prunes thoroughly in hot water and cut the latter into several pieces. We sort out the nuts, chop them a little and start preparing the apples. Wash the fruits, peel them, cut them in half and remove the core. Cut the pulp into strips or cubes and mix with raisins, nuts, prunes and rice. Season the filling with granulated sugar, cinnamon and a pinch of salt, mix and transfer to the pumpkin. Place pieces of butter on top and add water, cover the fruit with a “lid” and place it in a baking container or on a baking sheet, into which we pour a little water. Coat the top of the pumpkin with oil and bake in an oven preheated to 190 degrees for an hour and a half, adding more water if necessary. We check the readiness of the food by checking the softness of the pumpkin by piercing it with a toothpick.
