Pork with canned beans in a frying pan. Pork stewed with beans

Beans with meat is a combination that will delight you with its satiety and high nutritional value. Despite the fact that dishes made from these ingredients are not prepared very quickly, since the beans require long-term heat treatment, we dare to assure you that the final result will more than repay your efforts and tedious wait. Still, the cooking time for beans and meat can be significantly reduced if you use canned beans.

Beans with meat come in a wide variety of dishes, including salads, soups, all kinds of stews, stews, and oven-cooked dishes. Whatever option you choose, dried beans should definitely be soaked in cold water - this will not only reduce the cooking time of the dish, but also eliminate unwanted gas formation after eating it. Ideally, beans should be soaked for at least 8-10 hours. This pre-processing will be compensated by the benefits of this type of legume - beans are an excellent source of high-quality protein, vitamins, minerals and valuable amino acids that are not destroyed during cooking. By the way, don’t forget about green beans - they also harmonize perfectly with meat and are very good for health.

Prepared with beans in tomato sauce in a variety of ways. It should be noted that almost all recipes require quite a long time to prepare. Especially if you are using non-canned beans. However, the taste of all options is so delicious that no cook will regret the time spent.

Pork with beans in tomato sauce: recipe

A glass of beans (preferably red) is soaked; The beans need to be kept in water for a long time, at least 4 hours, so it is better to go through this stage in the evening. In the morning, after changing the water, the beans are set to boil, this will take another couple of hours.

A pound of pork is cut into small pieces, three onions and two carrots are chopped the way you prefer to do when preparing a roast. Vegetables are simmered until soft, and meat is added to them. It will simmer for about a third of an hour, after which the beans and a small jar of tomato paste are added to the frying pan. To make more sauce, you can add a little bean broth. Pork and beans in tomato sauce simmer until cooked; shortly before removing from the stove, a couple of pressed garlic cloves, chopped onion and dill are added to the pan. Before serving, the dish should be kept covered for about five minutes to allow the flavors to spread through the ingredients.

Quick option

If you don't have time to cook beans, beans with pork in tomato sauce can be prepared from a ready-made product. All you need to do is buy a can of beans rolled in tomato sauce. Meat in the amount of 600-700 grams is cut into small pieces and fried in vegetable oil until beautifully browned. Then an onion, chopped into half rings, is introduced. Next, carrot straws are laid. For about five minutes, all the added ingredients are fried with stirring, then a glass of drinking water is poured in, the fire is turned up to maximum, and the pan is covered with a lid. You need to simmer until almost done, then add the contents of the can into the pan, season a little with selected spices, add strips of bell pepper and simmer the pork and beans in tomato sauce for another quarter of an hour. After turning off the heat, add chopped garlic and herbs to the dish, taken to taste. The dish is infused for about 10 minutes and served.

Pork with fresh tomatoes

For this recipe you will need a glass of non-canned beans, half a kilo of tomatoes (based on 800 grams of meat), carrots, sweet peppers and a couple of onions. The beans are soaked and boiled as described above. The pork is cut into long thin pieces and fried. Once the meat has reached an even golden brown crust, add chopped onions and carrots. While they are simmering, the tomatoes are scalded, the stalk is removed and pureed with a blender, meat grinder or food processor. The mass is poured into the pan; simmering continues until it darkens. At this stage, ready-made beans, sweet pepper strips, salt and spices are added to the vessel. If necessary, you can add a little boiling water: the liquid should cover all the ingredients. The pork and beans are stewed under the lid for another half hour. Before removing, add garlic and chopped fresh herbs.

Recipe with potatoes

If life without your favorite tubers does not make you happy, we suggest using this recipe.

One and a half kilos of pork is cut and fried along with three chopped onions. When the meat reaches the middle stage of readiness (that is, it is still tough, but almost no longer bleeding), add potatoes, 6-7 pieces, cut into arbitrary slices. Immediately pour in a third of a liter of broth, preferably beef or chicken. At the same stage, the dish is salted and seasoned with spices. After 15 minutes, beans, chopped tomatoes (4 medium-sized ones) and squares of two bell peppers are added to the pan. After about seven minutes, chopped herbs are poured into the container, the fire is turned off, and the lid is closed. Five minutes of infusion, and you can start eating.

Pork with green beans in tomato sauce

If you don’t like traditional beans or they are contraindicated for you, pay close attention to their bean “brother”: it’s tasty, healthy and doesn’t take as long to cook.

A pound of finely chopped pork is fried along with two chopped onions and two tomato cubes. Upon reaching half readiness, pods (half a kilogram), cut in half and cleared of fibers, are placed in the vessel. The ingredients are poured with hot water, salted and peppered; The pan is left on the stove for 15 minutes to simmer.

During this time, a quarter kilogram of mushrooms (any kind) is peeled, cut and stewed in a separate frying pan until soft with the addition of a spoonful of tomato paste, three spoonfuls of sour cream, a lightly beaten egg and a teaspoon of flour. The contents of both vessels are combined, carefully mixed, transferred to a baking dish, sprinkled with grated cheese and placed in the oven until a golden brown crust forms on top, pleasing to the eye. When served in tomato sauce, cut into portions and sprinkle with herbs. Gourmets insist that cilantro and basil are especially appropriate in this dish.

For aesthetes

Any of the proposed recipes can be made in a pot. Preparatory work is carried out as described above; at the stage of half-preparedness of the dish, it is laid out in ceramic refractory portion containers, sprinkled with cheese or smeared with sour cream (mayonnaise if you like it better). The pots are put into the oven for a quarter of an hour. Or until the pork and beans in tomato sauce are covered with an appetizing golden “lid”.

Greetings to all. If you are looking for variety in addition to the usual side dishes. I recommend trying pork and beans in tomato sauce. The dish is quite appetizing, tasty and filling. And according to tradition, I present to your attention a recipe with a photo.

5. Then open a can of canned beans and pour them into the pork. Stir and leave for 5 minutes.

6. Add 2-3 tablespoons of tomato paste to the pork and beans. Add half a glass of boiled water and mix thoroughly. We wait for the sauce to boil and reduce the flame.

7. Now you can salt and pepper the dish. Taste the broth so as not to over-salt it. Salt can also be in canned beans and tomato paste. So go by taste.

8. Rinse the greens under running water and shake to remove excess moisture. Cut the basil leaves into pieces or simply tear them into the pan. Using dry basil is not fatal, just sprinkle it into the broth of our dish.

How to cook:

Use other types of oil, including butter. Add 1-2 tablespoons of soy sauce to the oil, but in this case you will need less salt. You can also add soy during the stewing stage.

Seasonings can be added to the oil during frying, for about 30 seconds, so that the aromas of the spices are revealed.

Add carrots to the stage of frying the onions, having previously washed them from dirt, cut them into strips, cubes, or simply grated them.

Experiment with spices, try cooking options with curry, paprika, add a couple of barberries or bay leaves.

Adding 1-2 tsp. Adding sugar at the stewing stage can produce a sweet and sour sauce.

If you take regular beans instead of canned beans, they must first be soaked and cooked separately before preparing this dish.
